I am very excited about using Habari (yes yes all the cool kids are doing it) So I started with AndyC's blog post about essential plugins. I soon learned that the best way to get plugins from trac is to use svn. This ending up not being a big deal, but I still kinda wish I could just download the tar.gz manually.
Anyway Im looking at the Habari Media Silo and Flickr Silo plugin but both honestly seem to be only partially working. Hopefully Habari folks reading this can help. :) I have set user/files to 774 recursively and the owner and group to www-data, but I am unable to upload pictures. WIth the Flickr Silo I can not view all my sets.
Upon finishing this post I realized the autosave plugin was keeping my from saving/publishing this post :p
Im sure ill be able to work this all out soon enough.
Surely the aim is to have a browsable plug-in and theme repository. I know that's the long term goal for Habari.
Do you really want to download individual archives, unpack them, activate them ?
The SVN method is growing on me
I'm currently running Habari on a test site (so.janetalkstech.com) and the two plugins you've talked about are running quite nicely on Habari 0.6.2! Give them a try again although i suspect since you're still running habari, you know this. :)
